Pip Goes to the YMCA – Childrens Book

Pip Goes to the YMCA is a delightful childrens book about the day Pip the dog went with his mum to work at the YMCA for the day. The book is written by Josie Ogden-Schroeder, CEO of the YMCA in Christchurch and illustrated by Megan Brasell-Jones who lives in Port Chalmers with her two children and a cat called Caterpillar.

Josie and Megan have been friends for 30 years and have shared many adventures, including the creation of this, their first children’s book.

There is now only a limited number of childcare spaces available in our centre, so book now if you want spaces for your child or children for 2016.

We are currently taking bookings for the waiting list and only have very few spaces still available in both under and over two year olds. Come along and visit and meet the teaching team. We will happily show you around.

YMCA Garage Sale

On 7th November we are holding a garage sale at 720 Pakowhai Road, Hastings.

This is your opportunity to buy space to sell your wares. Spaces are only $5.00 each. YMCA looks after the advertising of the morning as well as a providing a great venue with road side visibility to bring in all those interested in purchasing a bargain.  There will also be a sausage sizzle, cake stall and white elephant, as well as clothing for sale.  If you are interested in an area to sell your own wares then please contact 06 8436677 or email childcare@ymcahb.org.nz
