As the Outdoor Adventure Hub grows, we are interested in hearing from local instructors, youth workers, and outdoor educators who may want to be involved.

We would love to connect with people who have experience or qualifications in areas such as:

✔️ Rock climbing or climbing wall instruction
✔️ Kayaking or paddlesports
✔️ Outdoor education or recreation leadership
✔️ Youth development and programme delivery

Casual Y-Kids Volunteers  – Hastings, Napier, and Taradale

The Y (YMCA Hawke’s Bay) has proudly supported the community for over 125 years, and we’re looking for passionate and reliable people to join us and our team.

We have multiple volunteer roles available across Hastings, Taradale, and Napier for our Out of School Care (OSCAR) and Holiday Programmes.

Whether you’re a student, looking for work expericane, or wanting to build experience and share your skills with our tamariki, we offer flexible hours, full training, and pathways to grow into leadership roles.

What we’re looking for:

✔️A strong team player with great communication skills

✔️Energetic, fun-loving, and enthusiastic

✔️Availability to work additional hours during school holidays
